The abstracts accepted for the Conference, will serve as the basis for scholarly exchange during the conference.
It is anticipated that accepted abstracts, following peer review, will be published as a full paper in the IMEKO journals: Measurement, Acta IMEKO, Measurement: Sensors; however, submission eligibility is strictly limited to authors whose papers are both
(i) accepted to the conference and
(ii) presented at the conference either as an oral presentation or as a poster.
Papers not accepted to this conference — or accepted but not presented or displayed at the conference — will not be considered for publication.
If you wish to opt out of this process or have other requirements, please contact us at JointTC_Faro2026@imeko.org

Uphold rigorous ethical standards
1) Simultaneous submission to other conference or journal is strictly prohibited. Papers rejected from these special issues may be resubmitted to other journals, provided no prior publication or archival deposit has occurred.
2) Authorship: All listed authors must have made substantial contributions to the conception, design, execution, or interpretation of the research and must explicitly agree to both the authorship order and the final version of the paper.
3) Ethical approval: Studies involving human participants, live vertebrates, or biohazardous materials require formal ethical review and approval; the corresponding approval number and a signed statement confirming compliance must be submitted with the paper.
4) Disclosure of conflicts of interest: All authors must disclose any financial interests, affiliations, or other relationships that could reasonably be perceived as posing a potential conflict of interest with respect to the research.
