HISTORY OF THE IMEKOFOODS CONFERENCES

The IMEKOFOODS 2023 will be the 7th time this event is organized by IMEKO TC23 and is a continuation of the successful conference series that started in 2014 in Rome.

 

1st IMEKOFOODS Conference (2014): Metrology Promoting Objective and Measurable Food Quality and Safety - organized by ENEA (Italian National Agency for New Technologies, Energy and Sustainable Economic Development) in Rome, Italy, 12-15 October 2014.

2nd IMEKOFOODS Conference (2016): Metrology Promoting Objective and Measurable Food Quality and Safety - organized by ENEA, 2-5 October 2016, Benevento, Italy.

3rd IMEKOFOODS Conference (2017): Metrology Promoting Standardization and Harmonization in Food and Nutrition - organized by Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH), 1-4 October 2017, Thessaloniki, Greece.

4th IMEKOFOODS (2019): Metrology supporting emerging food topics - organized by SCIENSANO, 16-18 September 2019, Tervuren / Brussels, Belgium.

5th IMEKOFOODS (2020): Metrology for Sustainable Food Production - organized by Czech University of Life Sciences, 16-18 September 2020, Prague, Czech Republic.

6th IMEKOFOODS (2022): Food on a global market: opportunities and threats - organized by Croatian Metrology Society, 7-9 November 2022, Dubrovnik, Croatia.

7th IMEKOFOODS (2023): Worldwide food trade and consumption: quality and risk assessment - organized by the French Agency for Food, Environmental and Occupational Health & Safety (ANSES), 25-27 October 2023, Maisons-Alfort / Paris, France.
