Participants wishing to present their research findings should submit a short abstract for the consideration of the Scientific Committee.
A maximum of TWO abstracts for each registered participant will be allowed and only one will be considered for oral communication.

Oral presentations:
The maximum duration of the oral presentations is 20 min (ideally 15 minutes of speech and 5 minutes for the questions).
The format of the PPT presentations must be "big screen" (16:9). You should bring the presentation files on a USB device, or download them from the internet on-site. Please allow enough time for your presentation download and subsequent upload.
Poster presentations:
The dimension of the posters is @ A0 (120 cm × 85 cm). We suggest using a font size of 22 – 24 pt. for texts and 60 – 70 pt. for headings. All the necessary materials to fix the poster(s) on the board will be available on site. Presenters are expected to be at the posters during the Poster session according to the programme.

Special Issue Announcement – Food Chemistry:
All contributors of an oral or poster presentation at the 8th IMEKOFOODS Conference are invited to submit a manuscript for a Special Issue of the journal Food Chemistry. Papers can be submitted from October 2025. Further details will be available shortly.
