Bus leaves every full hour. The bus arrives to the main bus station in Ljubljana, from where you need to walk, or take a taxi to the hotel.
Reaching the conference by road
All major European motorways passing through Trieste (Italy), Klagenfurt and Graz (Austria), Zgreb (Croatia) etc. are connected with Ljubljana. The Grand Hotel Union is located in the centre of Ljubljana.
Good roads and short distances offer an excellent opportunity to explore the beauties of Slovenia by car. Please note that travelling with your own car requires buying a car VIGNETTE for using the highways (DARS Site). The vignette can be bought on the border crossings or at petrol stations all over the country. A one-week vignette can be used for short visits. In Slovenia it is obligatory to have the day-lights turned on during the day.
